David Stember, brings a wealth of real-world business knowledge gleaned from extensive experience as a seasoned entrepreneur. The unifying theme in an otherwise diverse business career has been his passion to understand the essential practices needed for growing healthy enterprises.

Wide-ranging business success in construction, real estate development, commercial printing, corporate sales and marketing eventually culminated in a consulting practice coaching startup entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and executive teams. The itch to live and work in a rural community brought David to Vermont in 2002 when he purchased a historic general store in the Northeast Kingdom. Following the area’s emerging trend towards sustainable businesses that support stronger local economies lead David to transition the store into Vermont’s first “community-owned” general store.

A Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a Masters in Psychology combined with practical business experience equips David to offer CBI’s clients a full spectrum of tools and support for the targeted acquisition, strategic growth and successful sale of small to midrange businesses.
